S4E3 The Battleground of the Mind and the 14 Rules of St. Ignatius Encircling Wall of Fire: Part 2 of Rule 2 and Rule 3 / Interior Awareness and Human Happiness

How does God move us and encourage us when we are growing in virtue? In this episode on part two of rule two and also rule three, we look at what spiritual consolation is and what the difference is with natural non-spiritual consolation and God-given spiritual consolation. We look at how to discern between the areas of awareness to cultivate peace and happiness and how to move with God and when it is Him moving or if it's the Enemy.

In this episode we took a look at Rule 2 when a person is moving toward God. What does the enemy do to keep us from growing in virtue? He steals our peace. He bites with whatever obstacle he can. What do we do when we find ourselves discouraged and down? Be Aware. We discuss the needs of a composite being and learn what the concept of discernment is.
